Richard fixed my roof about 6 months ago when I had a vent pipe come loose and water leaked into our fireplace. About six months later, when we discovered a new leak, I called him and he came right out and fixed it for free. Compared to other roofers I’ve seen in the Vail Valley, he is by far the best! Also, he does a good job of explaining all the details of what is causing the problem and the steps involved to fix it.

Richard and his guys were the easiest and most straightforward company I’ve dealt with in the valley. I called another company before finding him and waited weeks for a reply. He answered my calls and emails the same day and scheduled a time to come out. No back and forth.

We hired Richard to replace our shingle roof with a clip-on architectural metal roof. Our roof is curved and it needed a redesign to fix a creaking problem that we had. Despite the very high cost that Richard quoted us for rebuilding our roof and refinishing it with architectural metal, we hired Richard without getting other estimates. You might wonder why we invested much money on a new roof design without getting other quotes… it is because we were impressed by Richard’s “Can Do” attitude. We were not disappointed. Throughout the weeks it took to replace our roof, Richard worked on the project himself and diligently came up with solutions that only a builder would have been able to figure out. Richard was sensitive to the uniquely designed architectural elements of our home, and made detail choices that fitted our high-end home design. We can recommend Richard and his work to anyone.

We were pretty sure it was from rapid expansion and contraction, but we could not find anyone who could come up with a solution. This summer, we were lucky to find Rich through an internet search. He came out to talk with us shortly after I called him, and he knew exactly what to do, installing a new “cold roof” system. Once he started, he came early every morning, and worked all day until, after six weeks, the job was completed. His work habits and desire to see the job done right are admirable! Whenever he encountered a problem with our roof installation, he figured out a solution, based upon his decades of experience as a roofer. We are very pleased with the final results, and feel fortunate that we found him! He stands behind his work with a seven-year warranty, and has promised us to fix anything should the need arise.

We needed a complete roof replacement and were in a hurry to do so as we had active leaks and drywall damage. Materials were in short supply due to covid, but we were still able to get everything done in a quick timeline. Rich was easy to get in contact with, quick to respond to any inquiries we had and very professional. He helped with every step from selecting shingles to managing gutter selection. His team did a fantastic and thorough job on the roof from start to finish. All the billing was transparent and easily managed through the friendly and personable office manager, Pam. These guys are awesome! First off they came in at a fair price out bidding all local companies in Crested Butte by under 5k per building (6 buildings in all). They kept a clean job site and worked through high winds and adverse conditions and got the job done! Rich the CEO gave us free upgrades of metal valleys and high impact shingles even though it was not covered by insurance. I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants the job done right! Learned my lesson the hard way on choosing the wrong roofer. I have a 1/12 pitch with a valley drain and got sold a product that was not going to work. Richard came in, accessed the problem, fixed a problem that would have been a huge issue in the future, installed a better product with a better warranty, AND was more affordable than the first guy. HIGHLY recommend Richard, especially on flat commercial style roofs.

When we found out we had a leak in the roof of our new house we called Rich and he was over the next day. He got started right away and worked with us until the issue was resolved. We were very happy with his service.

Richard was super to work with. He was very responsive and communicated his progress as he went along. He had great ideas on how to update our 70s roof which definitely had some quirks to it.

They replaced our roof and did a great job. We had multiple companies bid in the valley and larger companies out of valley. We ultimately went with Aspen roofing because they were the only company in the valley that was close to the price of the larger out of valley companies. We prefer to use someone in valley and Rich was very responsive and helpful.
